I love these cases! The weekly one is where I keep my daily wad of vitamins. Before, when I'd travel, I'd use my unattractive plastic box, but I'd have to wrap it in athletic tape so that it wouldn't open in my bag. Functional, sure, but kind of depressing. Our reason for creating Ikigai Cases was a very personal one. In 2008 our father was diagnosed with CIDP, a rare neurological disease that inhibits your movement and can even leave you paralyzed.
In the next years, we watched our father go through every issue imaginable with his pill containers. Breaking, spilling, accidentally opening constantly. Handling a flimsy plastic pill box is already a hassle, and even more so when your hands aren’t working very well due to his disease.
We tried every pill case we could find. Unfortunately, none worked for him.

Do you offer rush shipping? (Hint: Yes)
Yes. Rush shipping is UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air Saver, and rush processing is USPS Priority Mail. Order any of those by NOON EASTERN and it ships the same business day. After noon eastern, it ships the next business day.
Normal orders get engraved and shipped in the order that they came in. Our goal is to ship them within 3 business days.

How does the sliding lid stay closed?
Ikigai Cases use a patented lid design that will never accidentally open or spill in your bag.
A spring loaded ball built into the base pushes up into a divot in the bottom of the lid keeping the lid securely closed.
When you’re ready to open your case, just push down on the traction pad area of the lid and slide the case open.
The lid will click into place at each pocket as it slides open. This makes it super easy to dump single pockets out while holding the case with just one hand.
How are engravings applied to the pill cases?
For Lid Engravings, we use CNC machines to engrave text onto the lids.
For Days of the Week (In Pocket Engravings), we use a fiber laser engraving machine to engrave the lettering inside the pockets.
The engravings are not stickers. They are not painted, sprayed, or laser marked on the cases. All of those ways to put temporary markings on a pill case wear off over time.
The engraving methods we chose are to make the engravings permanent - so they last as long as your case will.
We dealt with the pain of having markings wear off on plastic pill organizers for too many years. There was no way we were going to design our cases that way.

That photo works really well with the narration because it clearly shows the size of the compartments and the black/orange pairing.
For this exact image, I’d tighten the 20-second narration slightly:
“I like the Ikigai Weekly Vitamin 2XL cases because they’re sturdy, organized, and extremely well made. The oversized compartments easily hold all my daily vitamins and supplements, and the black and orange cases make it simple to separate morning and evening doses. I love this case! I love that it’s no plastic and how clean and smooth it feels. I know it’s not included in the photo because I have it full right now, but the engravings makes the blue one look holographic. It’s really cool. I’ve totally recommended it to all my families and friends.

I have been using Ikigai pill boxes for several years now. I started with a Nano case for taking my daily meds with me on the go. I kept it in my car door pocket or console. As time has progressed, so have the number of meds and supplements I now take. I moved from Nano to Mission three pocket Vitamin boxes which I had four of. The new Magnano two pocket vitamin case is perfect for my needs. I have the weekly set and they hold all my meds and supplements and no worries for my gel cap supplements getting squashed. Everything fits with room to spare. I like how the boxes stick together and I can just pull off the day of the week I’m on and carry it with me throughout the day. I’m fairly sure my purchase of the Magnano two pocket seven day vitamin size collection will last me for quite a while.
The case is a piece of industrial design beauty that you can actually own. It' over engineered in the best ways, it will last a lifetime, or several lifetimes. Days engraved on the inside are a huge help in remembering if you took that days pills. Customer service is 100%, if you should need it and you probably won't. Also, packing is gift worthy, reminiscent of an Apple iPhone. Worth every penny.

Who knew that a sturdy, functional pill case could be this cute? Here’s my Nano vitamin case with its Mission cousins. So many beautiful colors to choose from, but I think this Bahama Blue may be my favorite.
My Mission cases are great! That satisfying “click” that tells you your pills are secure and can’t spill out. These are beautiful and really seem like they will last a lifetime.
I’m getting a puppy in three weeks and I got a small pill case to make sure she can’t get her way into it and I’m getting a second one so when she gets bigger she won’t be able to get into my evening meds either.
These pill cases are awesome, and I can’t imagine a puppy or small dog will be able to get into them. Aside from their excellent construction, I can’t imagine a Mini Velociraptor will be able to chew her way into either of them.

Unfortunately, the vitamin size was much bulkier than I imagined (and more space than needed).
The 100 day perfect fit guarantee made it easy to swap for the smaller Nano Pill size. The nano size (not pictured) is still a bit thick, but much more portable and just as pleasurably fidgety!
I had my eyes on these products for a while. When I saw the MagNano customized daily boxes with AM/PM options, I decided it was time to take the leap. The price was a tough pill to swallow (pun intended), but the quality of the product made me realize it is a “buy once/cry once” type of purchase.
The decision for AM/PM is for longer trips where I can have two weeks of meds segmented (right now I only take pills in the morning). I can also decide to break off the boxes for shorter trips and minimize the carry away (i.e. sun-tues boxes for six days). The boxes are sturdy and well built. With that comes weight, which is the only negative thing I have to say about it. But honestly, I’d rather have something I know will last rather than the cheap plastic pill boxes I’ve used in the past.
I’m using it daily because I needed to justify the cost. It’s worked out really well. The magnets are strong, so my suggestion is to “bend” to separate instead of pulling apart. One time I pulled apart and the force made some of the individual boxes fly out of my hand and on to my hardwood floor. But, as a testimony to the quality, the pills stayed in tact and there was no damage to the boxes. You’ve got a loyal customer, Ikigai. Great product!

I think I overestimated how much space I’d need though. I’m debating if I should have gone with the pill case size instead of the vitamin case size.
Luckily their 100 day exchange window (even for used items) makes this very easy.
