Grab one half of the magnetic case. Place your thumb on the traction pad and slide down to open.

Slide until you reach the required pocket. The lid will click into place.

Flip the case to dump the pills into your hand. Easily pour just the pocket you want.

We take every Magnetic Case through a finishing process known as anodization to protect the case from wear and tear. The process makes the case three times tougher, corrosion-resistant, and allows us to add color.
The Story Behind
Ikigai Cases
Our reason for creating Ikigai Cases was a very personal one. In 2008 our father was diagnosed with CIDP, a rare neurological disease that inhibits your movement and can even leave you paralyzed.
In the next years, we watched our father go through every issue imaginable with his pill containers. Breaking, spilling, accidentally opening constantly. Handling a flimsy plastic pill box is already a hassle, and even more so when your hands aren’t working very well due to his disease.
We tried every pill case we could find. Unfortunately, none worked for him.
In 2021, after watching our dad suffer plastic cases for years, we finally had enough. We wanted to give him a pill case that is durable, easy to use, never spills, and looks good on top of it.
That’s how Ikigai Cases was born.

If you'd like to send us a photo of your daily routine, we can also guess-timate the size you need using that photo. Just send it to us at tavish@ikigaicases.com.
Lastly, our perfect fit guarantee means you can exchange your case if you do happen to find out the size wasn't quite right. We'll even redo the engravings for you, free of charge. It's just part of our promise to make sure you absolutely love your Ikigai Cases!

How does the sliding lid stay closed?
Ikigai Cases use a patented lid design that will never accidentally open or spill in your bag.
A spring loaded ball built into the base pushes up into a divot in the bottom of the lid keeping the lid securely closed.
When you’re ready to open your case, just push down on the traction pad area of the lid and slide the case open.
The lid will click into place at each pocket as it slides open. This makes it super easy to dump single pockets out while holding the case with just one hand.

Yes! Expedited shipping orders (UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, etc) get same-day processing. The shipping cutoff time is 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Normal orders get engraved and shipped in the order that they came in.

Do free promotional items need to be returned if I return my order?
If your order included any FREE promotional items, those items must be returned with the rest of the order if you initiate a return.
If a free promotional item is not returned, it will be charged at its full retail price and deducted from your refund.

Absolutely beautiful, this is the best pill case I have ever owned. You will not understand until you hold one in your hands. I hesitated in buying one cause it was a little too much than I wanted to spend on a pill case HOWEVER you will NOT be disappointed, in fact you will go right back to the website to buy more 🤭. This company is absolutely amazing with their customer service! I had been wanting to get myself a few of these holders for my morning thyroid meds and my nighttime supplements I take before bed and I couldn’t love what I got more! I had purchased something that was a bit to small for my needs initially, but the customer service with this company is 100% amazing! They helped me decide on what I would need for my specific products and exchanging was a breeze! I highly recommend this company and yes the products are a bit pricey, but they are excellent quality and built for life!

These pill cases are going to be a game changer! They’re beautiful and very well made. Ikigai has somehow figured out how to make a pill case that is both secure and easy to open - no simple feat! I wanted to find a pill case that would last for the rest of my life, and I believe I have. Customer focus is also an obvious priority of this company. I’ll definitely be ordering more as gifts!

I wish they all had like an “upgrade” to make any of them magnetic because the ones I got didn’t have the option and it would have been cool, but otherwise these things are beautiful. They feel great in the hand and have a trustworthy closing system. It locks in certain spots while opening and closing but the lid does come off with a little bit of force, all in, I wouldn’t recommend dropping it from distance but casual use you’ll have no problem and again you’ll love the look!
