The Story Behind
Ikigai Cases
Our reason for creating Ikigai Cases was a very personal one. In 2008 our father was diagnosed with CIDP, a rare neurological disease that inhibits your movement and can even leave you paralyzed.
In the next years, we watched our father go through every issue imaginable with his pill containers. Breaking, spilling, accidentally opening constantly. Handling a flimsy plastic pill box is already a hassle, and even more so when your hands aren’t working very well due to his disease.
We tried every pill case we could find. Unfortunately, none worked for him.
In 2021, after watching our dad suffer plastic cases for years, we finally had enough. We wanted to give him a pill case that is durable, easy to use, never spills, and looks good on top of it.
That’s how Ikigai Cases was born.

I am having trouble finding my size. What size should I get?
Use the Find Your Case page to find the case that works best for you! There are photos of cases filled with different sized pills there so you can estimate what size you need.
If you'd like to send us a photo of your daily routine, we can also guess-timate the size you need using that photo. Just send it to us at tavish@ikigaicases.com.
Lastly, our perfect fit guarantee means you can exchange your case if you do happen to find out the size wasn't quite right. We'll even redo the engravings for you, free of charge. It's just part of our promise to make sure you absolutely love your Ikigai Cases!
Do you offer rush shipping? (Hint: Yes)
Yes. Rush shipping is UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air Saver, and rush processing is USPS Priority Mail. Order any of those by NOON EASTERN and it ships the same business day. After noon eastern, it ships the next business day.
Normal orders get engraved and shipped in the order that they came in. Our goal is to ship them within 3 business days.

Our return portal is easily accessible on our main menu, and its liked in all your tracking emails. We even provide prepaid return labels to make sure the entire process is as seamless as possible.
Can I put them in my carry-on bag while flying? (Hint: Yes)
Yes! Pill organizers are 100% approved by the TSA for air travel as stated on the TSA.gov website, just place your Ikigai Cases inside your toiletry bag.

How does the sliding lid stay closed?
Ikigai Cases use a patented lid design that will never accidentally open or spill in your bag.
A spring loaded ball built into the base pushes up into a divot in the bottom of the lid keeping the lid securely closed.
When you’re ready to open your case, just push down on the traction pad area of the lid and slide the case open.
The lid will click into place at each pocket as it slides open. This makes it super easy to dump single pockets out while holding the case with just one hand.
How are engravings applied to the pill cases?
For Lid Engravings, we use CNC machines to engrave text onto the lids.
For Days of the Week (In Pocket Engravings), we use a fiber laser engraving machine to engrave the lettering inside the pockets.
The engravings are not stickers. They are not painted, sprayed, or laser marked on the cases. All of those ways to put temporary markings on a pill case wear off over time.
The engraving methods we chose are to make the engravings permanent - so they last as long as your case will.
We dealt with the pain of having markings wear off on plastic pill organizers for too many years. There was no way we were going to design our cases that way.

If your order included any FREE promotional items, those items must be returned with the rest of the order if you initiate a return.
If a free promotional item is not returned, it will be charged at its full retail price and deducted from your refund.

These are built fantastic. I’ve used so many different kinds of pill cases over the years and this one clearly is going to last the time I want it to last rock, solid and constructed of nothing but solid metal exactly what I was looking for.

I already had 7 of these cases, but wanted new colors, and because sometimes you take longer trips and need more cases. The beauty of the magnano cases is not the only reason to buy them. 1. They hold a lot of prescriptions and supplements as you can see from the photo. I could add more and some of my pills are huge (the 2 glucosamine for example). 2. I love being able to pack my meds and know they’re secure. No more having to find them in the bottom of my bag on arrival. 3. You can stick a single case in a pocket or purse to take with you as you go about your day. 4. Love the different colors; and there are still a few colors I want to add to my collection. You can change out the colors to match an outfit or to match your mood. Overall, these cases keep your pills safely organized in a sleek stylish case.
It's been about a week I've been using my new cases and they are wonderful. Just as advertised - they work and slide amazingly, making it very easy to get my meds and supplements. I have a long trip in the next few weeks where I'll put them through the travel test, but don't expect anything from the solid design. Sturdy and they so far haven't accidentally opened in my bags at all.

These are pricey so I think I waited about a year to buy. I went with a fancier than the typical drug store pill dispenser to start. These are SO MUCH better! I am taking them traveling to Mexico with me this coming week and with the small extra case I will have all my meds securely stowed. I love the greens. I am a little sorry that I didn’t get the small day case engraved. Oh well. I also got assistance on selecting the right size and it was correct! Everything fits well into the vitamin size without having to jam things in.

I absolutely love these pill cases! This is at least my 5th or 6th purchase from Ikigai and I have yet to be disappointed. The cases are durable, the engraving never wears out, and they stay closed. I continue to find endless ways to use my older ones as I’ve bought new pill cases with certain color releases. As someone who takes several pills every morning and night and has tried many plastic options on the market, trust me when I say these are the best and worth the money!
The pocket engravings are clean. Still love that you can start them on any day of the week because the traditional Sunday-Monday cases don't work well for me.
I love the lid engraving options. That is the part I stress about the most when setting up a case. I want something that represents what I need at the time. So I'm sure I'll end up ordering more just so I can have options on the motivational quotes I have started putting on.

I'm very pleased with my pill case. It looks nice sitting out. I don't have to keep it stashed. I got the 2XL, and the pockets are amply large enough for all of my medications and supplements, including three large fish oil capsules.
Love the nano vitamin for keeping my rings and earrings when traveling. I take a lot of transatlantic flights and my rings can get uncomfortable. This gives me a secure place to place them in my bag
This is a cute little case that I personally use to carry mints. I have had problems in the past with similar cases that did not protect the mints that I like to take with me. The nano is very well made and worth the cost it you want the ultimate protection along with convenience for taking your pills, vitamins, or mints with you in a secure way.
