The two sides of the case are connected by a set of four magnets which line the inside of the cases.

Grab one half of the magnetic case. Place your thumb on the traction pad and slide down to open.

Slide until you reach the required pocket. The lid will click into place.

Flip the case to dump the pills into your hand. Easily pour just the pocket you want.

We take every Magnetic Case through a finishing process known as anodization to protect the case from wear and tear. The process makes the case three times tougher, corrosion-resistant, and allows us to add color.
The Story Behind
Ikigai Cases
Our reason for creating Ikigai Cases was a very personal one. In 2008 our father was diagnosed with CIDP, a rare neurological disease that inhibits your movement and can even leave you paralyzed.
In the next years, we watched our father go through every issue imaginable with his pill containers. Breaking, spilling, accidentally opening constantly. Handling a flimsy plastic pill box is already a hassle, and even more so when your hands aren’t working very well due to his disease.
We tried every pill case we could find. Unfortunately, none worked for him.
In 2021, after watching our dad suffer plastic cases for years, we finally had enough. We wanted to give him a pill case that is durable, easy to use, never spills, and looks good on top of it.
That’s how Ikigai Cases was born.

Use the Find Your Size page to find the case that works best for you! There are photos of cases filled with different sized pills there so you can estimate what size you need.
If you'd like to send us a photo of your daily routine, we can also guess-timate the size you need using that photo. Just send it to us at tavish@ikigaicases.com.
Lastly, our perfect fit guarantee means you can exchange your case if you do happen to find out the size wasn't quite right. We'll even redo the engravings for you, free of charge. It's just part of our promise to make sure you absolutely love your Ikigai Cases!

How does the sliding lid stay closed?
Ikigai Cases use a patented lid design that will never accidentally open or spill in your bag.
A spring loaded ball built into the base pushes up into a divot in the bottom of the lid keeping the lid securely closed.
When you’re ready to open your case, just push down on the traction pad area of the lid and slide the case open.
The lid will click into place at each pocket as it slides open. This makes it super easy to dump single pockets out while holding the case with just one hand.

Yes! Expedited shipping orders (UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, etc) get same-day processing. The shipping cutoff time is 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Normal orders get engraved and shipped in the order that they came in.

Do free promotional items need to be returned if I return my order?
If your order included any FREE promotional items, those items must be returned with the rest of the order if you initiate a return.
If a free promotional item is not returned, it will be charged at its full retail price and deducted from your refund.

I wanted a small case to be able to throw in my bag and not worry about it opening or only carry a few pills. This definitely exceeded my expectations. First it is my absolute favorite color combination and it is easy to find in my bag. Second, it is a very sturdy case, but very easy to get into. I am confident that it will not accidentally open up in my bag. The slide cover is very smooth as well. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase!

Two pack bundle plus free nano was amazing. I’ve got a “headache and whatnot” med pill container for various bags, and pricing was solid. I’m not quite coordinated enough to video and close the cases with one hand at the same time, but even uncoordinated, there is something so satisfying about closing these lids!!

After all the talks about Kelly Clarkson and the Art of Play fiasco, I am here to tell you about an outstanding customer service that I have experienced with Ikigai. I just received my Magnano cases in the mail. I intend to replace the vitamin duo case that I normally take for my trips. As you can see, not all my evening meds fit my Magnano pm case. Then came the Magnano Vitamin size. I took a chance to ask if I can trade mine for the bigger cases. Customer service was just to eager to accommodate my request. They sent me a return postal mail to put on my package and worked on my refund in order to submit my new order for the larger product. The same person worked with me from beginning to end to make sure that my request is properly accomplished. Kudos to this outstanding team.
