Grab one half of the magnetic case. Place your thumb on the traction pad and slide down to open.

The Story Behind
Ikigai Cases
Our reason for creating Ikigai Cases was a very personal one. In 2008 our father was diagnosed with CIDP, a rare neurological disease that inhibits your movement and can even leave you paralyzed.
In the next years, we watched our father go through every issue imaginable with his pill containers. Breaking, spilling, accidentally opening constantly. Handling a flimsy plastic pill box is already a hassle, and even more so when your hands aren’t working very well due to his disease.
We tried every pill case we could find. Unfortunately, none worked for him.
In 2021, after watching our dad suffer plastic cases for years, we finally had enough. We wanted to give him a pill case that is durable, easy to use, never spills, and looks good on top of it.
That’s how Ikigai Cases was born.

If you'd like to send us a photo of your daily routine, we can also guess-timate the size you need using that photo. Just send it to us at tavish@ikigaicases.com.

Can I put them in my carry-on bag while flying? (Hint: Yes)
Yes! Pill organizers are 100% approved by the TSA for air travel as stated on the TSA.gov website, just place your Ikigai Cases inside your toiletry bag.

How does the sliding lid stay closed?
Ikigai Cases use a patented lid design that will never accidentally open or spill in your bag.
A spring loaded ball built into the base pushes up into a divot in the bottom of the lid keeping the lid securely closed.
When you’re ready to open your case, just push down on the traction pad area of the lid and slide the case open.
The lid will click into place at each pocket as it slides open. This makes it super easy to dump single pockets out while holding the case with just one hand.

Yes! Expedited shipping orders (UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, etc) get same-day processing. The shipping cutoff time is 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Normal orders get engraved and shipped in the order that they came in.

Do free promotional items need to be returned if I return my order?
If your order included any FREE promotional items, those items must be returned with the rest of the order if you initiate a return.
If a free promotional item is not returned, it will be charged at its full retail price and deducted from your refund.

I have horrible genetics. Most of the men on my Dad's side have passed [youngest at 32]. I had open heart at 45 and 2 stents placed in years after. I take a lot of medications and travel a lot. I have been so frustrated getting half way around the world only to find that my medications were all mixed up in the ziplock bag I put that horrible plastic case in. All around great product
Love the pattern/color of this one. And the size is perfect. I take 3-4 pills at lunch every day and 2 of which are rather large. This one fits them all no issue. It also protects the pills and keeps them safe and together. Beats my old method of just throwing my pills in my pocket and hoping for the best.
My wife absolutely loves her cases. Makes taking her daily/nightly pills much faster than before. She'd have to open each bottle and take a pill out every single night for all her meds. Now she just slides the lid back, dumps in hand, and takes all at once.

I got the Ikigai 2 pack bundle with the Weekly Vitamin Case and the Mission Vitamin Case. I could not find a good solution for when I'm traveling for a full week to carry my pills and supplements. I take about 8 medium sized pills a day plus a tiny statin. I saw Ikigai on Instagram but hesitated based on the price. But nothing else on the market looked as night so I finally pulled the trigger. They are, in a word: perfect. High quality, feel substantial like they'll last forever. And as a person susceptible to fidgety things, they have a very satisfying magnetic sliding lid. I love them. The Mission Case I use daily to take my pills to work.

The colors and build quality are amazing. I live being able to sort an entire month of my meds. In the past I’ve struggled with remembering to refill a weekly container. Filling it once a month has been a game changer for me. Each case being a different color has also helped. I leave one case on the counter at a time, and each week the color changes. Seeing a “new” case each week tricks my adhd brain into remembering it’s there, instead of ignoring it after a while. Definitely worth the splurg and spending the little bit extra to get a set of 4
Cherry blossom color is beautiful but a little hard to read the engraving on the outside. Paired really well with a purple half for afternoon. Life gets busy and having the AM PM case helps keep me honest on both what day it is of the week and if I’ve taken prescriptions yet. 10/10
