Grab one half of the magnetic case. Place your thumb on the traction pad and slide down to open.

Slide until you reach the required pocket. The lid will click into place.

Flip the case to dump the pills into your hand. Easily pour just the pocket you want.

Slide the lid up until it clicks and is secure. No more spilled pills in your bag.

We take every Magnetic Case through a finishing process known as anodization to protect the case from wear and tear. The process makes the case three times tougher, corrosion-resistant, and allows us to add color.
The Story Behind
Ikigai Cases
Our reason for creating Ikigai Cases was a very personal one. In 2008 our father was diagnosed with CIDP, a rare neurological disease that inhibits your movement and can even leave you paralyzed.
In the next years, we watched our father go through every issue imaginable with his pill containers. Breaking, spilling, accidentally opening constantly. Handling a flimsy plastic pill box is already a hassle, and even more so when your hands aren’t working very well due to his disease.
We tried every pill case we could find. Unfortunately, none worked for him.
In 2021, after watching our dad suffer plastic cases for years, we finally had enough. We wanted to give him a pill case that is durable, easy to use, never spills, and looks good on top of it.
That’s how Ikigai Cases was born.

Use the Find Your Size page to find the case that works best for you! There are photos of cases filled with different sized pills there so you can estimate what size you need.
If you'd like to send us a photo of your daily routine, we can also guess-timate the size you need using that photo. Just send it to us at tavish@ikigaicases.com.
Lastly, our perfect fit guarantee means you can exchange your case if you do happen to find out the size wasn't quite right. We'll even redo the engravings for you, free of charge. It's just part of our promise to make sure you absolutely love your Ikigai Cases!

How does the sliding lid stay closed?
Ikigai Cases use a patented lid design that will never accidentally open or spill in your bag.
A spring loaded ball built into the base pushes up into a divot in the bottom of the lid keeping the lid securely closed.
When you’re ready to open your case, just push down on the traction pad area of the lid and slide the case open.
The lid will click into place at each pocket as it slides open. This makes it super easy to dump single pockets out while holding the case with just one hand.

Do you offer rush shipping? (Hint: Yes)
Yes! Expedited shipping orders (UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, etc) get same-day processing. The shipping cutoff time is 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Normal orders get engraved and shipped in the order that they came in.

Do free promotional items need to be returned if I return my order?
If your order included any FREE promotional items, those items must be returned with the rest of the order if you initiate a return.
If a free promotional item is not returned, it will be charged at its full retail price and deducted from your refund.

It works just the way I expected the only thing that caught me off guard. I thought they would have magnets on both sides and it just has it in one side. I can understand that if it had it on both sides, it would probably attach to anything that could be magnetic. But other than that, I like it a lot just what I was looking for.
The design of this is sleek and rock solid, I’ve already taken it traveling and it’s held up beautifully. It is heavier than some other cases but I love that it’s plastic-free, and it holds the many vitamins/pills I have to take easily. The customer service is also stellar - when the case I ordered was a bit too big for my needs, they were very attentive and swapped it out for me right away. They’re pricey, but so worth it, and FSA eligible! Would 100% recommend.
I'm so excited to have something sturdy and high-quality to help me remember to take my medicine! I like how customizable this case is. I plan on using this to carry 8 days ' worth of my medicine when I travel and 4 days ' worth of medicine and supplements when I am home.

Got this for my wife. She travels a lot with a busy schedule and the case makes it much easier to stay on top of her meds. She loves the personalized engraving.
The black with pink splatter design looks amazing. The size of the vitamin case is perfect for my needs. I like the stopping motion at each section. And the lid come completely off for easy cleaning. It also fits the gummy vitamins.
This is a great pill box that I’m sure will last a very long time. It’s beautiful to look at and it makes your life easier each morning.
I have to take medication during the workday so bring this little box in my bag is a lifesaver. If I have to put it on my desk, it’s not a dead giveaway that it’s medication. It’s chic and the colors is beautiful.

This is my fifth case. I have two of the weekly pill cases and two of the smaller nanos. They are just perfect! I really want another weekly cases to make a three week set, but so far have only seen black offered . I also have the bigger nano as well

Loved my first set of AM/M Ikigai cases so much, I got a second matching set so I can prep 2 weeks of pills at a time. Love the magnets that let me rotate the cases so the current day is always at far right.

I received the new Ikigai Metal Cases to move away from plastics and toward plastic-free options. While transferring the pills, I noticed the Weekly Vitamin 2XL Case is enormous. The quality is excellent, and I am pleased I made the shift.
