The Story Behind
Ikigai Cases
Our reason for creating Ikigai Cases was a very personal one. In 2008 our father was diagnosed with CIDP, a rare neurological disease that inhibits your movement and can even leave you paralyzed.
In the next years, we watched our father go through every issue imaginable with his pill containers. Breaking, spilling, accidentally opening constantly. Handling a flimsy plastic pill box is already a hassle, and even more so when your hands aren’t working very well due to his disease.
We tried every pill case we could find. Unfortunately, none worked for him.
In 2021, after watching our dad suffer plastic cases for years, we finally had enough. We wanted to give him a pill case that is durable, easy to use, never spills, and looks good on top of it.
That’s how Ikigai Cases was born.

I am having trouble finding my size. What size should I get?
Use the Find Your Size page to find the case that works best for you! There are photos of cases filled with different sized pills there so you can estimate what size you need.
If you'd like to send us a photo of your daily routine, we can also guess-timate the size you need using that photo. Just send it to us at tavish@ikigaicases.com.
Lastly, our perfect fit guarantee means you can exchange your case if you do happen to find out the size wasn't quite right. We'll even redo the engravings for you, free of charge. It's just part of our promise to make sure you absolutely love your Ikigai Cases!
Do you offer rush shipping? (Hint: Yes)
Yes. Rush shipping is UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air Saver, and rush processing is USPS Priority Mail. Order any of those by NOON EASTERN and it ships the same business day. After noon eastern, it ships the next business day.
Normal orders get engraved and shipped in the order that they came in. Our goal is to ship them within 3 business days.

Our return portal is easily accessible on our main menu, and its liked in all your tracking emails. We even provide prepaid return labels to make sure the entire process is as seamless as possible.
Can I put them in my carry-on bag while flying? (Hint: Yes)
Yes! Pill organizers are 100% approved by the TSA for air travel as stated on the TSA.gov website, just place your Ikigai Cases inside your toiletry bag.

How does the sliding lid stay closed?
Ikigai Cases use a patented lid design that will never accidentally open or spill in your bag.
A spring loaded ball built into the base pushes up into a divot in the bottom of the lid keeping the lid securely closed.
When you’re ready to open your case, just push down on the traction pad area of the lid and slide the case open.
The lid will click into place at each pocket as it slides open. This makes it super easy to dump single pockets out while holding the case with just one hand.
How are engravings applied to the pill cases?
For Lid Engravings, we use CNC machines to engrave text onto the lids.
For Days of the Week (In Pocket Engravings), we use a fiber laser engraving machine to engrave the lettering inside the pockets.
The engravings are not stickers. They are not painted, sprayed, or laser marked on the cases. All of those ways to put temporary markings on a pill case wear off over time.
The engraving methods we chose are to make the engravings permanent - so they last as long as your case will.
We dealt with the pain of having markings wear off on plastic pill organizers for too many years. There was no way we were going to design our cases that way.

Yes! We accept HSA and FSA cards at checkout using our checkout partner, Flex.
Do free promotional items need to be returned if I return my order?
If your order included any FREE promotional items, those items must be returned with the rest of the order if you initiate a return.
If a free promotional item is not returned, it will be charged at its full retail price and deducted from your refund.

Super fast shipping and love the 3 a day pill set up!
I got the whole 7 day set with different colors. Silver or Grey is for my Monday. I figured it matched "moon" day :) I added a small paper divider just to separate one of my vitamin D jellies as it can get a little sticky with the sugar coating from the rest of my supplements and pills. Magnano cases are perfect for me as I wanted a way to individually separate one for each day that I can carry with me, but be able to snap together with the rest once it returns home or wherever I am while traveling.
This case is awesome! It easily holds my supplements for the week, the color is amazing, build quality is incredible, and the audible/tactile clicking as you open and close it is just so satisfying! Highly recommended!

I love this discreet, sturdy, and beautiful little pillbox! It just lives in my purse. The pills never spill out, yet it isn’t hard to open.
The Nano case is the perfect size for daily carry of my PRN medications. I suffer from occasional migraines, plus the usual aches and pains of middle age, and this tough little case holds everything I need securely and beautifully. Plus, it’s just fun to fidget with, if you’re so inclined.

I put engraving opposite way as sample picture.because my long time used plastic cheapy pill case was separated in the middle, top for morning and bottom for evening. When I saw this product, its comes with life time warranty and looks very tough so I decided to give it a shot! Yeah, it’s kinda pricey but I have meds to take pretty much rest of my life for my condition…..and I am very happy my investment so far! It’s cute and lots of funky design too. Highly recommended

The weekly xl size is so roomy. Taking large vitamins or carrying a massive supply of advil and Tylenol in you work in a crazy environment is great. It hold so much and isn’t even the largest size available.
I love these nano size, having a back up set of meds in case I don’t remember before leaving the house is so handy and it’s so well built I don’t have to worry about it opening in my bag and something going missing it also works great to hold jewelry at the gym a great safe space.
This case is perfect, a whole week plus a bonus pocket. Nothing will accidentally open in your bag, and everything will stay organized and where it’s Supposed to be.
