The Story Behind
Ikigai Cases
Our reason for creating Ikigai Cases was a very personal one. In 2008 our father was diagnosed with CIDP, a rare neurological disease that inhibits your movement and can even leave you paralyzed.
In the next years, we watched our father go through every issue imaginable with his pill containers. Breaking, spilling, accidentally opening constantly. Handling a flimsy plastic pill box is already a hassle, and even more so when your hands aren’t working very well due to his disease.
We tried every pill case we could find. Unfortunately, none worked for him.
In 2021, after watching our dad suffer plastic cases for years, we finally had enough. We wanted to give him a pill case that is durable, easy to use, never spills, and looks good on top of it.
That’s how Ikigai Cases was born.

If you'd like to send us a photo of your daily routine, we can also guess-timate the size you need using that photo. Just send it to us at tavish@ikigaicases.com.
Lastly, our perfect fit guarantee means you can exchange your case if you do happen to find out the size wasn't quite right. We'll even redo the engravings for you, free of charge. It's just part of our promise to make sure you absolutely love your Ikigai Cases!
Do you offer rush shipping? (Hint: Yes)
Yes! Expedited shipping orders (UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, etc) get same-day processing. The shipping cutoff time is 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Normal orders get engraved and shipped in the order that they came in.

Yes! Pill organizers are 100% approved by the TSA for air travel as stated on the TSA.gov website, just place your Ikigai Cases inside your toiletry bag.

How does the sliding lid stay closed?
Ikigai Cases use a patented lid design that will never accidentally open or spill in your bag.
A spring loaded ball built into the base pushes up into a divot in the bottom of the lid keeping the lid securely closed.
When you’re ready to open your case, just push down on the traction pad area of the lid and slide the case open.
The lid will click into place at each pocket as it slides open. This makes it super easy to dump single pockets out while holding the case with just one hand.
How are engravings applied to the pill cases?
For Lid Engravings, we use CNC machines to engrave text onto the lids.
For Days of the Week (In Pocket Engravings), we use a fiber laser engraving machine to engrave the lettering inside the pockets.
The engravings are not stickers. They are not painted, sprayed, or laser marked on the cases. All of those ways to put temporary markings on a pill case wear off over time.
The engraving methods we chose are to make the engravings permanent - so they last as long as your case will.
We dealt with the pain of having markings wear off on plastic pill organizers for too many years. There was no way we were going to design our cases that way.

Its a great pill case. Very well made and durable. There is a slight lock at each pill compartment which is nice so the entire top wont open when you only need to access one or two compartments. Very happy with the purchase - it fills my need and will live in my truck for when I need advil or allergy meds.

The case is worth every cent. The color is beautiful. It’s easy to use and you can tell the quality is very high. I also love the vioborant color and it is so easy to spot. It’s been perfect for all my daily supplements.
Having the mini pill case makes it easy to just take noon out and about once I’ve already taken morning medication and going to the gym and then to a college course for the day day. As an epileptic I take a lot of medicine three times a day and so these IKIGAI cases make it so much easier to manage my medication for a weak I have a place for a.m., noon, and p.m. all one place stuck right to one another never losing one of them like I would with the plastic ones relative three different ones for a.m. noon and p.m. Taking this much medicine in my life, I thought I would treat myself to non-plastic and reliable durable pill case(s) in my life so that I do not have to deal with those plastic ones that open on you all the time. It is so easy for me to just take the morning or undo the magnetic part and leave the am pill holding section behind if I’m going out for the day I need the noon and night time. I love my mini IKIGAI case for when I know I’m just gonna be out and about for the timeframe that I’ll be taking noon medication so it’s easy just to pop out of the noon and into that the mini case and pop it in my pocket and won’t have to worry about it opening up like a lot of pill carriers do from my experience at least. How to live how the desert rain the gun medal in the IKIGAI orange clash together and make the colors in the desert rain pop. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend investing in these cases if you also have to take of vitamins or medicine.
So, they kept showing me ads on Facebook and I took the bait and bought a small Mission case. I actually like it a lot more than I thought I would. It’s beautifully made. It’s heavy, but not too heavy. It’s secure. It actually feels expensive (it was) and well made. Like it enough that I returned and bought a MagNano set that I’m still waiting to arrive. The only two things I do not like are — I slid the top off a little too forcefully and my pills went flying across the room. I also don’t love their branding on my pill case, and wish it was just a simple logo or something instead of their name spelled out.

This little pill case is the perfect travel companion for my EDC pack which I carry everywhere. If I ever get stranded or sent on a last-minute mission, I am ready with my Bible, prayer journal, note pad, pens, and a week supply of my three prescriptions. I love these! I finally took the plunge and bought the Weekly XL cases for travel. They stayed connected and closed, didn’t get dinged up in my carry on or checked bag, and they look cool. I have had quite a few people ask me about them when they see them. If you travel often and take lots of supplements and/or have lots of meds, I highly recommend these.

I initially ordered the mission pill case that had a smear in the corner and also wanted to exchange it for the vitamine version. Everyone was super understanding and exchanged it without questions asked. My new one is a masterpiece and I’m really glad I got the size and design I got! As a whole I think it is a decent product. In the video you should be able to see the size reference, how strong the magnets are. My only thing is that the magnets on the side that keep all 3 vitamin XL can be stronger. I notice that the magnet holding the case together works well when its in a looser bag. Capacity wise, it fit my needs. The rest only time will tell if it is any good. ie. does the magnet get weaker, discoloration and etc.
With lots of travel and more days on the road this car allows me to plan and stay on top of my supplement regime. Doesn’t open on its own or get nasty like plastic.

This vitamin nano case is great for setting out my night pills before bed. I keep the case next to my water on a side table and don't have to worry about the cat knocking it over.
