The Story Behind
Ikigai Cases
Our reason for creating Ikigai Cases was a very personal one. In 2008 our father was diagnosed with CIDP, a rare neurological disease that inhibits your movement and can even leave you paralyzed.
In the next years, we watched our father go through every issue imaginable with his pill containers. Breaking, spilling, accidentally opening constantly. Handling a flimsy plastic pill box is already a hassle, and even more so when your hands aren’t working very well due to his disease.
We tried every pill case we could find. Unfortunately, none worked for him.
In 2021, after watching our dad suffer plastic cases for years, we finally had enough. We wanted to give him a pill case that is durable, easy to use, never spills, and looks good on top of it.
That’s how Ikigai Cases was born.

Use the Find Your Size page to find the case that works best for you! There are photos of cases filled with different sized pills there so you can estimate what size you need.
If you'd like to send us a photo of your daily routine, we can also guess-timate the size you need using that photo. Just send it to us at tavish@ikigaicases.com.
Lastly, our perfect fit guarantee means you can exchange your case if you do happen to find out the size wasn't quite right. We'll even redo the engravings for you, free of charge. It's just part of our promise to make sure you absolutely love your Ikigai Cases!
Do you offer rush shipping? (Hint: Yes)
Yes. Rush shipping is UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air Saver, and rush processing is USPS Priority Mail. Order any of those by NOON EASTERN and it ships the same business day. After noon eastern, it ships the next business day.
Normal orders get engraved and shipped in the order that they came in. Our goal is to ship them within 3 business days.

Can I put them in my carry-on bag while flying? (Hint: Yes)
Yes! Pill organizers are 100% approved by the TSA for air travel as stated on the TSA.gov website, just place your Ikigai Cases inside your toiletry bag.

How does the sliding lid stay closed?
Ikigai Cases use a patented lid design that will never accidentally open or spill in your bag.
A spring loaded ball built into the base pushes up into a divot in the bottom of the lid keeping the lid securely closed.
When you’re ready to open your case, just push down on the traction pad area of the lid and slide the case open.
The lid will click into place at each pocket as it slides open. This makes it super easy to dump single pockets out while holding the case with just one hand.
How are engravings applied to the pill cases?
For Lid Engravings, we use CNC machines to engrave text onto the lids.
For Days of the Week (In Pocket Engravings), we use a fiber laser engraving machine to engrave the lettering inside the pockets.
The engravings are not stickers. They are not painted, sprayed, or laser marked on the cases. All of those ways to put temporary markings on a pill case wear off over time.
The engraving methods we chose are to make the engravings permanent - so they last as long as your case will.
We dealt with the pain of having markings wear off on plastic pill organizers for too many years. There was no way we were going to design our cases that way.

If your order included any FREE promotional items, those items must be returned with the rest of the order if you initiate a return.

Great little case. My favorite material titanium! Please do more! I was gonna get a vitamin case in Ti too but was too late. We need another run. Thanks! Only suggestion is that the location of that friction square, maybe on the opposite side makes more sense.
Great little pill case that hides in your pocket easy. The quality is worth the price and the paint splatter designs are my favorite and get attention when sitting out! I will say that the Desert Rain appears more of an orange color in person, whereas the online pic looks more yellow. Not a huge deal but just something to consider if choosing that color. The Nano Vitamin in titanium is a great case. I generally love titanium as a material so I knew I had to scoop one of these up. It’s going to be a little bit heavier than aluminum but it feels good. The tolerances on this case are also tighter than any other case I have. Zero rattle and just feels premium. Looking cool doesn’t hurt either!

This nano vitamin case i got for carrying mints but i was astounded of how nice these cases are. Definitely worth the price, especially since they are hsa eligible ao you can use that money for that as well. Would recommend 10/10
Having the mini pill case makes it easy to just take noon out and about once I’ve already taken morning medication and going to the gym and then to a college course for the day day. I’m not gonna be out until 8 PM if I am, I would bring the p.m. case along but other than that I am not out the late and the mini case gets the job done. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This little case has become my go-to for keeping lozenges and whatever else I'm carrying that day organized and within reach. It's tiny but holds plenty, and the metal build feels genuinely premium compared to the flimsy plastic organizers I used before. The sliding lid is satisfying to use and I never worry about it popping open in my bag. Highly recommend if you want something discreet that actually looks good too.
I bought the weekly am/pm in Bahama blue and black + blue splatter for my weekly medication regimen, and an Ikagi orange nano for daily use. So far, I have been impressed with these cases. The weekly case snaps together and has little indentations between the individual cases, so they just don't come apart unless I want them to. The lids stop and click into place at each pill well, which makes it easy to ensure I'm not going to dump out several days of medications by accident (I'm looking at you, old plastic pill case). The textured area on the lid makes the case simple to open and close - no grabbing a bottle and messing about with childproof caps. I can see my mother, who has arthritis, being able to use these easily. The orange nano is just an awesome little case that I can throw a few pills in if I need to, and I know it's not going to accidentally open in my pocket. I'll probably order more of these cases for my kids' medications so I don't have to pack a pharmacy when we travel. I have seen these cases for a long time, and balked at the cost, but for the quality of the product, they're worth it.
