Grab one half of the magnetic case. Place your thumb on the traction pad and slide down to open.

Slide until you reach the required pocket. The lid will click into place.

We take every Magnetic Case through a finishing process known as anodization to protect the case from wear and tear. The process makes the case three times tougher, corrosion-resistant, and allows us to add color.
The Story Behind
Ikigai Cases
Our reason for creating Ikigai Cases was a very personal one. In 2008 our father was diagnosed with CIDP, a rare neurological disease that inhibits your movement and can even leave you paralyzed.
In the next years, we watched our father go through every issue imaginable with his pill containers. Breaking, spilling, accidentally opening constantly. Handling a flimsy plastic pill box is already a hassle, and even more so when your hands aren’t working very well due to his disease.
We tried every pill case we could find. Unfortunately, none worked for him.
In 2021, after watching our dad suffer plastic cases for years, we finally had enough. We wanted to give him a pill case that is durable, easy to use, never spills, and looks good on top of it.
That’s how Ikigai Cases was born.

If you'd like to send us a photo of your daily routine, we can also guess-timate the size you need using that photo. Just send it to us at tavish@ikigaicases.com.
Lastly, our perfect fit guarantee means you can exchange your case if you do happen to find out the size wasn't quite right. We'll even redo the engravings for you, free of charge. It's just part of our promise to make sure you absolutely love your Ikigai Cases!

How does the sliding lid stay closed?
Ikigai Cases use a patented lid design that will never accidentally open or spill in your bag.
A spring loaded ball built into the base pushes up into a divot in the bottom of the lid keeping the lid securely closed.
When you’re ready to open your case, just push down on the traction pad area of the lid and slide the case open.
The lid will click into place at each pocket as it slides open. This makes it super easy to dump single pockets out while holding the case with just one hand.

Yes! Expedited shipping orders (UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, etc) get same-day processing. The shipping cutoff time is 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Normal orders get engraved and shipped in the order that they came in.

Do free promotional items need to be returned if I return my order?
If your order included any FREE promotional items, those items must be returned with the rest of the order if you initiate a return.
If a free promotional item is not returned, it will be charged at its full retail price and deducted from your refund.

I love this! It’s just so pretty and yet functional. I like the idea that I can separate the days and only take pills for the days I’m traveling instead of taking an entire half empty case of pills with the traditional plastic pill case. Genius!

This is the xl weekly vitamin case in desert rain. I love this pill case. I was so tired of how gross my plastic pill cases were getting. I love that this can be washed easily when it needs it. Its very durable and heavy duty. I've gotten one for my mom who has severe arthritis in her hands and its a great help to her because opening and closing pill bottles is super difficult. And a bonus - the Ikigai team are such kind people. Definitely would recommend!
I love the new magnetic daily cases. The one thing I would change for the next version is to allow the cover on the case to slide in both directions. That way you could get to AM or PM more conveniently in case you need PM you won't have to empty the AM.

These cases are simply the best made, most attractive and most useful on the market. The magnets are strong and snap together with a satisfying “clunk”, yet they easily can be broken apart for individual use. They are expensive but you really do get what you pay for. They came with a “travel case” which I don’t really understand since it’s huge, but everything else about these are A+!
